- Assist in recovery of algae infested pools swimming pool ALGAECIDES Conventional approach to controlling algae in swimming pools relied upon maintaining an adequate sanitiser residual level & a correct water balance. It is vital to control algae for health, safety & aesthetic reasons because algae infestation problems are both expensive & frustrating to correct. Algae spores are either already present in the water, introduced by wind, or are attached to other debris which can contaminate the pool. Algae species most commonly found in swimming pools are the green, black, mustard & pink algae. Each have developed their own unique defence mechanisms. aquaGUARD has products formulated to kill, prevent & control algae infestations. Use them to avoid cloudy water, increased chlorine demand & clogged filters.
